Ski It to Believe It

skiing-in-vail

Jackie and I love skiing.  You can’t beat spending time outdoors in the mountains surrounded by beautiful views.  Vail is one of our favorite places to ski.  It is huge!  There is so much terrain in the back bowls with good access to lifts and lighter crowds.  Nothing beats a huge open field full of powder or carving tracks through a stand of mountain top pine trees.

Skiing is another sport where you can traverse the spectrum from a hard fought battle with a mogul field to a graceful cruise down the mountain.  Its a good way to clear your head and help put things in perspective.

I went snowboarding for a couple days a few years ago, but I haven’t made the conversion.  At some point I have a feeling I will, but for now I’m still on skies.

Every time I go skiing, I wish I could spend the winter at a ski resort and ski everyday.  You know the feeling right?  After a few days of skiing you feel like you’ve hit your stride and could spend the rest of the winter on the mountain.  That’s one of the reasons why I started down the entrepreneurial path.  Imagine if you had the financial and time freedom to spend the winter months in the mountains!  You could do this with a home based business.  You could work around your skiing schedule and could fit in plenty of time for apres ski.  Give it a shot, maybe we’ll bump into each other on the slopes!skiing_collage
