Last month, Jackie and I traveled to the Dominican Republic for the annual M3 Private Wealth Group conference. We added a few additional days to the trip to relax and enjoy the area. We sailed, swam, read… we did it all (or as much as possible since Jackie is expecting!)
From the day we stepped onto the resort we met some of the WMI community and instantly created friendships that will last a lifetime. To be surrounded by people that share the same beliefs and values is very powerful.
The location was magnificent. The beaches were beautiful, the pools were spectacular, and the gardens were stunning. While I’m not one to typically endorse all inclusive resorts, it worked well for this event.
Amidst breathtaking surroundings, we were introduced to experts who presented wealth building opportunities. These M3 alliances represent some of the best strategies and best kept secrets in the world.
One influential speaker included Harry Dent, a distinguished financial newsletter writer. His latest book, “The Great Depression Ahead”, is definitely a must read! Another outstanding presenter was John Perkins. He’s the best selling author of “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” and really provided thought provoking presentations. The quality of ALL the presenters and the integrity of the individuals far exceeded our expectations.
While we had a week full of strategies to grow and protect our wealth, a large focus was on developing relationships and defining the power within us. We participated in activities that pushed our boundaries and fears. There are two very memorable experiences that should be mentioned. We literally broke through our fears which were represented on boards. In another exercise, Jackie and I bent rebar with our necks.
This was truly a lifestyle experience with remarkable accomplishments and personal fulfillment. We were pushed to raise our level of personal and financial awareness!
2 months have now passed since our trip and we have already implemented some of the financial strategies and are breaking barriers on a daily basis. We are now looking forward to the next event in November!
